Flower shop refrigeration isn’t to be taken lightly. Flowers require very unique conditions in order to maximize shelf life. It’s been shown that proper refrigeration conditions can extend the shelf life of flowers by up to 75%, maximizing profits and reducing waste.

Sub-optimal storage and display conditions lead to large losses. Temperatures around 1.7 degrees celsius are to be maintained at all times, while atmospheric humidity must remain around 85-90%. These unique conditions require refrigeration equipment specific to flowers.

VAGA also offers only Low velocity evaporator coils for our flower coolers. This is ideally suited where low air movement is required and steady temperatures throughout the space is mandatory.

We carry larger windows and glass doors for this unique application for better visibility for flower shop customers.
